Denny Foster & Richie Alleyne showed their true skills and determination when they walked off with the top prize at the 2011 President’s Putter held at Royal Westmoreland during December. The two-ball, better ball team shot Net 63 between them to ensure the victory over 18 holes. Both veterans of the game came up against stiff competition from current National players and reminded them that they too were National players in their day.

The President announced that he was very pleased with the number of players who supported the event in the shotgun format, since it helps to bring golfers back together at the end to share a light moment over a beer or two and to defend either good or not so good scores. The weather was great, near perfect and 20 teams teed off, with a wide range of handicaps, some there for the fun and others who came to win.

This year’s tournament attracted key National players in the likes of James Johnson & Marcus Clarke, Ricky Skeete & Robert Piggott, Orville Alleyne & Dawn Bispham and Judd Cozier & Thomas Harris who turned in very competitive scores on the day.  The results are as follows:
