New Junior groups start every new School term.
HAVE FUN. MAKE FRIENDS. IMPROVE YOUR GAME.
We start new groups at the start of every new School term: January : April : September.
Each new group will typically practice twice a week at the Barbados Golf Club. Your child will be placed in a group that meet the age of your child and golfing ability. The Junior golf program accept children form the age of 4 to 15 years old. The program offers all the resources a parent needs to introduce the game to the beginning golfer. Local Instructors are teaching golf to kids 15 years old and younger, and their game-based teaching methods reinforce the “fun” element of the Barbados Junior Golfers mission. We offer Forward Tees that scale the golf course to fit the skill of beginning golfers. By playing courses from the appropriate yardages, players have more fun and families can create lifelong memories together on the golf course. Contact us for more information

Golf is all about having FUN while learning the basics of golf.
To introduce the game of golf to beginners we use SNAG® Golf ('Starting New At Golf') - the best first touch program to effectively teach the game of golf to people of all ages and ability levels. SNAG® Golf offers the versatility to learn and play in almost any environment you choose. SNAG® is a proven player development program designed for new learners of all ages. SNAG® contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form, making it an easy and fun way to learn and play golf. The system builds on strong fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing to develop playing ability quickly and effectively. SNAG® incorporates developmentally appropriate equipment and instruction that will allow golf to be learned and played in non-traditional venues, such as on a soccer field, in a gym, or on the beach. The game has its own simplified rules and terminology that adds fun to the learning and playing experience. SNAG® is the skills-acquisition program used in the national school golf program headed by the World Golf Foundation’s First Tee Program. There are more than 5,000 schools that are successfully introducing children to golf in the U.S. and over 8,000 worldwide. Find out more about SNAG® here. Watch movie about SNAG®
