The second day of the golf tournament in Punta Tiburon, Veracruz, Mexico was played in challenging weather conditions and the average score was lower than during the first day.
Barbados James Johnson was struggling on the day and had to accept 6 bogies. Like the first day of play it was the back nine who was the most challenging, recording 4 bogies.
Player of the day was another amateur, Jose Enrique Mendez from Costa Rica who recorded a 69, 3 under par which moved him up to the top of the table. Yesterdays leader Jose De Jesus Rodriguez from Mexico recorded a 76 and is now third.
