Dorado, Puerto Rico.
Friday was the last day in the CAGC at Dorado, Puerto Rico. The Barbados team in the Hoerman Cup was trying to advance in the table and catch Jamaica for fourth place. First out was Julian Jordan who posted a 76 (+4), his best score during the whole tournament. Later on came the Barbados Captain James Johnson in with another 76 (+4). The best score however came from the last man in the field - Simon Proverbs with a 72 (Even). His best and the teams best score during the whole tournament.
Jamaica was caught by a margin and Barbados finished fourth in the table just behind Trinidad and Tobago.
This years winner was Puerto Rico before runner up Dominican Republic. Notable individual achievement during last day play was Puerto Ricos Edward Figueroa who posted a 67 (-5). Figueroa was also the only player in the field under even (-1) after all four rounds.
Other Barbados scores:

Barbados team scores during the tournament was; 332, 313, 314 and 309. The first days score is not good enough at this level but the team came back strong and showed good spirit and the last days 309 is not bad at all.
If Barbados want to challenge for the Hoerman Cup in the future we need to post team scores under 300.
In the Super Seniors division, The Higgs & Higgs Trophy, Ricky Skeete and Robert Piggott posted another 73 (+1) and saw Trinidad and Tobago pass them for second place. Puerto Rico won the Trophy on 282, 3 shots ahead of Trinidad and Tobago and 4 shots ahead of the Barbados duo. All in all it has been a good performance from the Barbados team. This years the Higgs & Higgs Trophy was very tight and only 5 strokes was the difference from the 1st to fourth place.
