Dane wins Banks Medal

Dane Da Silva won the Gross title in the Banks Monthly Medal golf tournament at Rockley with a one-stroke difference from Lennox Mirjah.

Da Silva shot 76 to win from Mirjah and Collis Lynch, who had a 79.

Likewise in the Nett division competition was close with Harriet Linton emerging victorious.

A score of 67 which almost included an Eagle forced a countback with an improving Yuri Chakalall, who also shot a Nett 67.

Anthony Kirton was third with a Nett 68.

The longest drive prize for men went to Alric Gaskin while Harriet Linton returned to claim the corresponding prize for the women.

Terry Atkinson won a nearest to the pin prize along with Philip “Flip” Seale.
